2019/12/26 16:55:35

Special Session Organized by

Yu Wang, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore; Benfei Wang, Sun Yat-sen University, China; Binyu Xiong, Wuhan University of Technology, China; Zhongbao Wei, Beijing Institute of Technology, China; Yang Li, Wuhan University of Technology, China

Energy storage systems have been recognized as the key elements for future smart grids and transportation electrifications. As energy storage systems are widely spread in a distributed manner, many challenges will be faced in the adoption of new techniques and strategies for planning, control, monitoring, prediction, and management. In particular, information systems play vital roles in effective, stable and secure utilization of distributed energy storage systems, where advanced algorithms, design, and architecture are to be investigated.
This special session aims to provide timely solutions for emerging challenges in information systems of distributed energy storage systems. Original technical paper and state-of-the-art survey papers are invited for submission.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to

  • Modeling and Digital Twins of Energy Storage Systems
  • Battery Management Systems
  • Control Systems of Power Electronics Interfaces
  • Grid Ancillary Services by Energy Storage Systems
  • Control and Optimization of Distributed Energy Storage Systems
  • Fault Prognosis and Diagnosis for Energy Storage Systems
  • Condition Monitoring of Energy Storage Systems
  • Data Analytics of Energy Storage Systems
  • Internet of things Infrastructures and ICT
  • Energy Trading and Blockchain with Energy Storage Systems
  • Cyber-security Issues of Energy Storage Systems
